Join us at the Wapsianna Park Thursday evenings at 7 pm for live music and fun! Area musicians and musical groups share their time and talent. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy Thrusday nights with us!

Located at J&P Cycles' retail store in Anamosa, Iowa, the rally includes the Midwest's premier outdoor bike show, freestyle motocross stunt shows and live music. This is a chance for riders to get up-close and personal with reps from more than 50 companies offering motorcycling products. See the newest motorcycle accessories, learn new skills, and ask questions to experts. Come join the roar of bikes as they cruise into Anamosa.

Welcome to the Pumpkin Capital of Iowa! Fun For The Entire Family! - Enjoy a true Main Street Festival and be part of the festivities that have drawn thousands to Anamosa since 1989. Some activities include dozens of food and craft vendors, kids' games, one of the largest parades in all of Iowa, and of course, GIANT pumpkins! Jones County Iowa State Extention and Outreach and Jones County Volunteer Center are partnering on Monday, January 15 to bring opportunity to Jones County for a one day volunteer service project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Load up the kids or even come on your lunch break and come to the Extension Office in Monticello where we will have several activities going on to support our local community. We will also be hosting a food drive so when you're loading up make sure you bring a few canned food items with you!
Activity supplies and snacks will be provided.
March 3 - Lawrence Community Center
Come out and see the best little Home Show in Iowa. Our little show draws around 500 visitors with a wide range of vendors for home repair and remodeling. Unlike the big shows with tons of people, and waiting to talk to a vendor, you can have a more relaxed time.
- Come to main Street Anamosa to see some very impotant guests! The American Gothic inspired "God Bless America" statue is making its home in Anamosa for the next 10 months. This 25 ' tall, 27,000 lb statue depicts one of Grant Woods most famous couples. They love visitors! Information Brochure
So come visit Anamosa, take some pictures, visit the local shops, and restaurants, then take a drive through Stone City, where Grant Wood painted some of his most popular pieces. #anamosagothic
