Planning is underway for the 2024 Anamosa Pumpkinfest and Ryan Norlin GIANT Pumpkin Weigh-Off! The Weigh-Off began in 1989 and since then Pumpkinfest has been a staple amongst the community, drawing in thousands of visitors to town each year. This year’s theme is “Save the Pumpkins.” October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This will be a redux of the 2019 theme. Much of the Pumpkinfest celebration in 2019 was rained out.
