The Anamosa Chamber works on behalf of businesses of all sizes in the community to drive commerce, community and cultural opportunities for members. Remember at the chamber there are no strangers, just clients, colleagues and competitors you haven’t met yet.

2015 Board Members are:  President Jim Johnson-Journal Eureka , Vice President Scott Minzenmeyer-Recreational Motor Sports, Treasurer Traci Worcester-F & M Bank,   Jenny Butler from JRMC, Betty Weimer from Grounds and Goodies, Deb Oldham from Anamosa Dental,  Roy Crawley from Bennett  Machine & Fabricating, Cindy Merritt-JP Cycles, Duane Moser-Family foods, Katie Gombert-Barner Auction & Realty, Jean Milburn-=Silvercrest, Bill Feldmann-Banowetz Lumber and Feldmann’s yard and Garden  Chamber Coordinator is Carla Burge.

The board has just completed a retreat and have great plans to benefit the members.  Business after hours is held at a different each month and only business folk are invited.  The sponsor gets a 5 minute infomercial.  Contact Carla Burge at the Chamber office if you are a member and wish to get on that list!    WE hosted our first  blood drive in September and helped develop Create Your Anamosa which resulted in Tours of Opportunity and the sale of several downtown buildings.   We host the Pumpkinfest in October, the Home and Garden Show in March and Magic on Main Friday after Thanksgiving.  The Annual meeting is held in January.  The Spring Prayer breakfast is another event sponsored by the Chamber and is held Good Friday Morning at the Lawrence Community Center.
